Questions

Asked, answered.

Plain answers to the questions investment groups and members actually ask. Anything unanswered here, we would rather answer in person.

I.  From investment groups

Who owns the records?

Your investment group does. Everything you and your members put into CASPOMA is your data — we claim no ownership of it, and you can export it in a machine-readable form at any time, not only on the way out. The same commitment is written into our License Agreement.

We already run warehouse software. Does CASPOMA replace it?

No — and it asks nothing of your warehouse. Warehouse and distillery systems run the industrial life of the spirit. CASPOMA is the group-side record: who owns what, what it cost, what covers it, presented to your members under your brand. Different tool, different party.

Can one investment group's data reach another investment group?

No. Tenant isolation is enforced at the database layer, not the application layer. Records from one investment group cannot accidentally meet another's.

What can members see?

Their own holdings — never each other's. Members see their own casks, valuations, documents and cover status. Investment group administrators see the investment group. Nobody sees both by accident.

What happens if we decide to leave?

You export your records in a machine-readable format, and we delete them from production systems after an agreed window — the exact windows are stated in the License Agreement. A record you cannot take with you is not a record.

How does an investment group get started?

By conversation, not by checkout. There is no public sign-up. Request a walkthrough, and if it fits we onboard your investment group deliberately. [CONFIRM — describe the onboarding steps and a typical timeline before publishing this answer.]

What does it cost?

Pricing is discussed in the walkthrough and stated in your order form. [CONFIRM — decide the public pricing posture: keep it conversation-led, or name tiers here.]

Where is the data hosted?

[CONFIRM — name the hosting provider, region and backup arrangements once fixed. Specifics build more trust than adjectives; state them plainly here.]

Does CASPOMA sell casks, or advise on buying them?

Never. We do not sell casks, broker them, or advise anyone to buy them. We are a software company; the record is the product. Our Terms of Use say this at length.

II.  From members

What do I see when my investment group invites me?

A quiet record of every cask you own through the investment group: valuation history, location, cover status, documents — the same record your investment group's operator looks at.

Can CASPOMA change my records?

No. Your investment group maintains your records; we cannot alter them for you — and every change anyone makes is logged with its author and its time.

Who do I ask about a valuation or a document?

Your investment group. CASPOMA runs the record; your investment group owns the relationship and the answers.

Is my information visible to other members or other investment groups?

No. You see your own holdings only, and your investment group's records are isolated from every other investment group's at the database layer.

What happens to the record when I'm gone?

It survives you — that is the point. Continuity and heir access are designed in, so the record can pass to your estate in a form your executor can actually read.

Why can't I just sign up?

Because your casks live with your investment group, the record must too. Each member arrives by invitation from the investment group that holds their casks.
